Ingredients :

1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup crushed potato chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup granulated sugar for decoration

Cream the shortening with the sugar. Add the egg and beat well. Stir in the vanilla.
