1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup prunes, cooked and chopped
2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons butter
1 egg yolk
3 cups confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tablespoons strong brewed coffee

In a large bowl, cream the white sugar and shortening until light and fluffy. Beat the eggs, and add to the sugar mixture. Add the prunes.
