This recipe is my twist on a conventional Persian chicken and rice dish brought to me by a very good friend's wife at a circle of relatives dinner. I want to serve this to my own family as a primary meal followed with a salad.
Ingredients :

- 6 ½ tablespoons olive oil, divided
- sixteen ounces yellow saffron rice
- 2 yellow onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 pounds skinless, boneless chook breast halves, cut into cubes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 (sixteen ounce) cans chickpeas (garbanzo beans), tired
- four ounces raisins
- 1 tablespoon paprika
