- 1/2 cup dried pitted prunes
- half cup raisins
- 2 mandarin orange peels
- 2 cinnamon sticks

- Pour peaches, pears, cherries, and all syrups from the canned fruit into a large pot. Stir in prunes, raisins, mandarin orange peels, and cinnamon sticks; carry to a boil. Reduce warmness to low and simmer till slightly thick, about 2 hours.
- Serve heat. Remove orange peels and cinnamon sticks before serving.
Notes :
- You can use either 1 or 2 cans of candy cherries in heavy syrup. Substitute canned prunes if candy cherries aren't available.
- Cool, save in the fridge overnight, and reheat the second day for a richer flavor. Remove the orange peels and cinnamon sticks simply before serving.
